Seven Islands is a social enterprise providing opportunities and livelihood to a community of women artisans in the Barddhaman district of West Bengal, India. We are committed to creating meaningful and flexible income earning opportunities as well as true social impact in our community.

We celebrate the local craft of ‘Kantha Stitch’ featuring exquisite needlework that is passed down from mother to daughter for generations. Our products are completely hand-embroidered and hand-tailored, showcasing the talent and craftsmanship of our artisans. Each piece takes weeks, even months, to create and reflects the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the region.
